It seeks to clarify concepts such as tolerance, inclusivity, diversity and touches on the value dialogue and tolerance has in unlocking the ‘collective wisdom’ of Parliamentarians in exercising their oversight and legislative functions. This publication is funded by the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF). In addition to several Members of Parliament, the Speakers of the provincial legislatures were interviewed and all contributions were integrated throughout the publication.
